Archaeologists uncovered a remarkable wine cellar in the ancient city of Tel Kabri, believed to have been destroyed by an earthquake approximately 3,600 years ago. Amid the ruins, researchers discovered 40 large pottery jugs, each standing three feet tall and capable of holding around 13 gallons of liquid. This find represents the largest known ancient wine cellar, offering a fascinating glimpse into the deep appreciation for wine that existed even in those times.
That same passion for wine endures today. While the methods have evolved, the dedication remains unchanged—now in the hands of experts who cultivate vineyards and design state-of-the-art wine cellars to continue this timeless tradition.
